Day 13 - Thu - 10/09/2025 - At Sea to LeHavre-Day 3

This was now our 3rd day at sea returning from Norway.  The seas have calmed down a lot but it was still a bit breezy and slightly warmer.  Once again there was not much of interest to me on the schedule except that we enjoyed our interdenominational Bible study in Mark at 8am.  Afterwards Debbie gave her presentation on the hastily added port of LeHavre.  It was really good and gave us some ideas for tomorrow.

My 10am breakfast was the latest I've eaten on the ship.  I stayed in my seat and waited for Angela and we had lunch.  Mine was very light. After lunch, Angela's Pop Choir gave a short performance in the Piazza and in thd Princess Theater the Meet the Captain session followed it.  It was quite interesting.  I was then free and did some walking on the outside deck watching many ships in the English Channel.

After dinner we went to the show which was a Swedish singer, Tove Holm, who did a tribute to Swedish pop music with a focus on ABBA.  It was so good that we went back for the 9:30pm show and sat in the first row.  Angela got to dance with her during her Dancing Queen number.  This was probably the best show of the cruise and it was the first time this cruise we went back for a second show.

In between the two shows we met with Darrell and Sherry and planned a trip to Rouen tomorrow using the train.  It's about an hour away. We planned this because we visited LeHavre 2 years ago and really didn't need to revisit it again.

Coming back to the stateroom, there was a letter under the door that we needed to see French immigration in the morning.  We still hadn't been notified whether it was possible to leave the ship for two days to visit Paris, so I went down to the front desk with the letter and when I said we had never been notified as to whether we could leave the ship for two days and we consequently changed plans to stay onboard, the clerk told me to ignore the letter.  I then pressed him, "Would this cause any issues with scanning off the ship in the morning?"  He said no, but I was skeptical.  We'll see in the morning.
